The Person

Hi, I’m Anita Lee—founder of My Blooming Creativity, journal designer, storyteller, and someone proudly living a sober life. My journey hasn’t been easy. I lost my mother at a young age and spent years in the foster care system. Like many, I searched for relief in all the wrong places, eventually turning to alcohol to cope. But the real shift happened when I stopped drinking and started listening—to myself, my pain, and my possibilities. That’s when journaling became my anchor. Through writing, I began to uncover who I really was. It gave me a space to ask hard questions and sit with honest answers. Slowly, my healing unfolded—and I realized I wasn’t alone. That’s what inspired me to create and share. My Blooming Creativity grew from that spark. What began as a simple YouTube channel has grown into something so much more: a collection of journals, handmade designs, and creative tools meant to support others in their own transformation. Today, I show up—at craft fairs, online, and in life—with a deep belief that everything is already okay. Life still brings challenges, but now I meet them with clarity, creativity, and compassion. If my story or my work speaks to you, I hope you’ll join me on the journey.

The Mission

To nurture creativity and authentic expression—most often through the power of journaling. We believe that creativity is not only a form of expression, but a pathway to healing and recovery. Through this lens, we support individuals in rewriting their personal narratives, fostering resilience, and stepping into lives of greater clarity, connection, and well-being.
